Nothing like the other URBN locations I've visited. Service was friendly but the food was forgettable.

The place is nice, the service is excellent, but please make the margarita pizza the right way, cheese, sliced tomatoes and basil...no canned roma tomatoes please......we will be back for sure

Great pizza and amazing servers that are always very friendly. Decent draft beer selection but the star is always the pizza. Same owner as Basic pizza downtown but the wings and salads are also very good

My friends and I were looking for some tacos to each for lunch and we found this place on yelp and decided to try it out! We almost missed this place because it's pretty small and hidden. I got the steak, carnitas, and chorizo tacos which I thought were just okay. I didn't really like the tortillas they used

Their pizza is pretty good but I really like their Urbn salad. It's so yummy.

Best pizza ever! The crust is thin and delicate with just the right amount of crunch. Beer is great along with the sides. I love taking my boys here along with their friends. The staff is always friendly and amazing. They are very attentive.

I took a group of my assistants to lunch and we had a lovely time, the great food and customer service was a big part of that. We ordered 3 different, non-traditional pizzas which were all delicious. I highly recommend the urbn salad, as well. When the waitress overheard that someone in our party has a nut allergy, she had a salad made just for her without the nuts - such great attention to detail!

Loved the Pizza and service here, the small pizza is like a large.

Best local pizza hands down

Great service from the start! Wonder people and atmosphere! The Vegan pizza was amazing! We got the large and it was enough to split between 3 people! Have a good beer section! Would recommend this place to everyone looking for a fun family dining experience!

First time I went I loved the pizza. So good. Next 3 times they messed up my order. Three times in a row. Last time, and it will definitely be the last time, they left the chicken off one of the pies and burned the hell out of the other. It was so burnt it is impossible they didn't notice. Threw it in my picked up order anyways. Pizza is good when made right, but the staff is garbage.

A homeless man tried to sleep just outside the restaurant. The cops sent him packing. Food good. Location???.

I'm familiar with the URBN Pizza restaurants in Encinitas and Vista so when I was El Cajon yesterday on business I stopped in for lunch. I love the pizza, especially the Mashed Potato Bacon & Mozzarella, and it didn't disappoint! What I really loved about URBN Pizza El Cajon is the space! Big comfy booths, long tables, big restrooms and all the TV's above the bar! The design of the place is sick, from the raw steel and crates, to the glass window pane enclosed pizza kitchen. Like the other URBN Pizza locations, you can see the coal fire oven baking pizza just like back home in New Haven CT.I really enjoyed my experience at URBN Pizza El Cajon and I am thinking about reserving one of the long tables for my next large event. I know my guests will love it here and the pizza and service are always on point.

Good food and excellent surroundings

Service was prompt and friendly. Food is delicious though a little pricey.If you live dark beers, the seasonal Oskar Blues imperial stout is a dream to the mouth.

Honestly everything here from the drinks to the food is amazing you really can't have a single complaint about this place

Pizza was great, wings were great, beer selection was good and everyone was cheerful! What more could you ask for? Maybe the paper menu could use an upgrade, but with beer often cycling out, it's understandable. 5 star for sure!

URBN's pizza is the best in town! I'm a fan of the thin crust woodfire pizza, it's quality NY style pie with lots of flavor and options. The beer selection is great and the rotating craft beer tends to be locally brewed. It's fantastic and spacious setting with friendly staff, greatcfor family dinners or checking out a sports game with friends!

Awesome wings!! We got the kale spicy chicken salad too.. As im typing this my mouth os literally watering.. SOOOO GOOD!! That veggie Calzone was AMAZING ASWELL!!!!Next time I'm adding jalepeno and sausage though. The car show was a plus too. Can't wait for next time!!

This place is great for everything. They amazing pizza, really good beer and the best part is their menus aren't huge with a bunch of options that confuse the hell out of people, simple and to the point.

I visited this place twice during my recent stay in El Cajon. Enjoyed the food, although it is a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area. Particularly enjoyed the salads here, which were so fresh, tasty dressings and good portion sizes. Efficient and friendly service.

My wife loves their brussel sprouts (pictured)! Our server was very good and kind. The decor is unique with an open feel. Their dinner menu is rather brief but the lunch menu includes calzones. Their pizza is unique which is a nice change so it's good to expect something different. We had their vegan pizza (pictured) but with mozzarella added (thus vegetarian). I thought the food was okay but it's worth checking out. Seems like a good spot for lunch.

Food was delicious as always. It's a good deal for the quality and quantity of food you get but today they get 4 out of 5 stars because of the service. The lady gave us the bill before we even hot our food. It was so strange and felt rude. We all felt that way.

Delicious gluten free pizza! They do have really big probs, so usually if I order a pizza it's two or three meals worth. However, they have a really good pizza that even has mashed potatoes! One of my favorite foods...

Nice sized restaurant. Friendly servers. Their vegan pizza is great. Crispy, nice amount of tomato sauce and toppings are delicious. There's never a wait when we come here and our food comes out fairly quick. The servers are very attentive and will give you updates on your orders. There's lots of parking available and I think due to the size, you can even have a party here.

I am a big fan of thin crust pizza. This place hits the mark. Gouda chicken pizza was really good. Margarita pizza had really good flavor. The BBQ wings were also really good. It was the first time I was every told a brewery was out of the beer I wanted. Still really good food. Desert cookie with ice cream had the kids attention. Service was very good. Place was busy on a Thursday night. Since it was my first visit I would guess it is always busy for dinner. Will definitely return again.

These guys have a good, rotating beer list and the pizzas are pretty good - they're thin wood-fired, thin, sort of new york style. That's the good. I was wavering between 3 and 4 stars though because the service has been subpar every time we've been there. Inattentive servers in a restaurant that isn't busy drive me crazy, and there it's common to wait 5-10 minutes to get your beer after you order it, even though the bartender poured it right away. You just have to sit there and watch it sweat on the bar, waiting for your MIA server to bring it to your table...

Urbn Wood-Fired Pizza graces the middle of Main street in El Cajon, California. The service is excellent. The pizza is huge and the beer is fresh. They hit on all cylinders as far as I can tell. We chose to start with some wings and an order of Brussels sprouts. The wings were crispy outside, juicy inside and excellent no matter which sauce I dipped them into. Sprouts aren't my thing, but they were devoured in minutes so they must be right! We ordered a large mashed potato pizza. It wouldn't fit on the table in most restaurants, but Urbn just has picnic-style tables so no one is cramped. Delicious. Park in back and stop at Creative Creatures on your way in or out for a nightcap. Drive responsibly.
